The Italian Peptide Society (ItPS) announces a competition to award a prize for the best doctoral thesis in the field of peptide science. To be eligible, Ph.D. candidates must have successfully defended their PhD Thesis up to two years prior to the submission deadline of the present call. The competition is open to young Italian scientists, not necessarily members of the ItPS.
The prize will be awarded at the sole discretion of the ItPS Scientific Committee.
Applications must be filled according to the attached template and must be accompanied by a brief report (1 page, written in English) highlighting the reasons why the Ph.D. thesis should receive the award, and a copy of the thesis.
The documentation (in .pdf format) must be sent by e-mail to the ItPS Secretariat (societaitalianapeptidi@gmail.com) by March 22, 2024.
The winner of the prize will be announced to the community during the “37th European Peptide Symposium” in Florence, 25-29 August 2024. On the occasion, she/he will receive a certificate of the prize, the membership of ItPS, and will present the results of the thesis with an oral communication.
