Journal of Peptide Science Special Collection dedicated to Prof. Carlo Pedone

 

Dear Colleagues,

In 2022 we lost a great mentor, a dedicated colleague and a good friend, Carlo Pedone. He was an internationally renowned scientist and a distinguished representative of the peptide community. Those who knew him fondly remember his competence, dedication, and availability. We gratefully maintain an image of him as a charismatic and scientifically brilliant person within our community.

In gratitude to him and to commemorate his legacy, we wish to publish a Special Collection at the Journal of Peptide Science featuring articles from his laboratory’s alumni members, close collaborators and colleagues, and good friends. We personally invite you to contribute to this Special Collection dedicated to Prof. Carlo Pedone.

We are welcoming contributions of all types, but the submission of research articles is particularly encouraged. To assist us in our planning, please let us know by writing an e-mail to one of the "guest editors, if you are interested to contribute to this editorial initiative. You may submit your contribution whenever it suits you from now until the submission deadline (September  30th, 2023), indicating in your cover letter that the manuscript has been submitted to the Special Collection dedicated to Prof. Carlo Pedone.
